ChartierDalix
États Généraux #2

Frédéric Chartier founded the ChartierDalix practice with Pascale Dalix in 2008.
Since then, more than twenty buildings have been delivered and around ten projects are under construction this year. Noted in international competitions, the practice has won many awards, including the Équerre d’argent in the Workplaces category in 2022 for the new AP-HP headquarters in Paris (12th arrondissement), and the “Soufaché” prize in 2017, awarded by the Académie d’architecture for its body of work.

‍

Made a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture in 2019, Frédéric Chartier is frequently invited as a teacher, lecturer and jury member at schools of architecture in France and abroad.

‍

For several years, the practice has been working on integrating living things into architecture. The wide range of ideas explored and the diversity of responses offered by its projects form a body of work that reflects the changing conditions of contemporary life.
